Development Office

Established in February 2006, the Development Office has a mandate of undertaking the development of buildings and other physical infrastructure of the Polytechnic.  Activities of the Department/Office also include maintenance of buildings/infrastructural and general management of the Polytechnic’s estate. This is achieved by the use of development consultants and contractors, as appropriate.


In line with the main vision of the Polytechnic, (i.e. become world class centre for applied technology) the Development Office seek to undertake projects to the best possible standard that would provide the appropriate environment for teaching and learning.


To become a centre of excellence in the implementation of construction development projects with the aim of complimenting formal training of students, especially those offering construction related subjects.
